Bouncer and Baby Bjorn
We finally tried out Annika's bouncer seat and Baby Bjorn (baby carrier). Thankfully, she seemed to like them pretty well, and it's nice to have a couple more options during the day, so Mom and Dad can get things done around the house. She promptly fell asleep as soon as Liz strapped her in the carrier.
It's also a blessing that Annika usually falls asleep as soon as we get her in her carseat in the car. She's slept right through the few errands we've gone on, and Liz even took her for a walk in the stroller for the first time.
First Bath
After delaying Annika's first bath for almost 2 weeks, we finally got her all cleaned up, with Grandma's help. Like just about everything else, we had procrastinated for about as long as we could!
Grandparents in town
Annika got to meet Grandpa and Grandma Shubert for the first time this week. It has been wonderful to have Liz's parents here, not only to help out as Carl started back at work, but just to share in the joy of our new baby.
Flurry of Updates
After heading back to work for a busy week, I (Carl) haven't had time to post new pictures. Now that I have a couple of easier days, look for a bunch of new pics today and tomorrow!
